How FileTiny handles data

FileTiny provides browser-based tools for everyday file tasks. We try to keep the experience lightweight and avoid asking visitors to create an account.

Files and tool input

Many tools, including image compression, word counting, QR generation, and calculator features, are designed to run in your browser. For those workflows, the selected files or typed text are processed locally by your device. You should still avoid using any online tool for highly sensitive documents unless you are comfortable with how the tool works.

Analytics

FileTiny uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic, popular pages, and device performance. Analytics data helps us improve navigation, content, and speed. Google may process information such as page views, approximate location, browser type, device type, and referral source according to its own policies.

External libraries

Some tools may load browser libraries for PDF, QR code, or image processing features. We aim to load heavy scripts only when a tool needs them, which helps keep the site faster on mobile devices.
